 Where would Tex-Mex be without Mexican Food? Unlike Tex-Mex, good Mexican Restaurants are easy to find in California and are starting to appear in other states as well. One thing I find fascinating about Mexican food is the difference between it in Texas and California. They are both very good, and both have their own unique dishes and ingredients. The difference between Tex-Mex and Mexican food is a fine line. The name Tex-Mex sometimes is only used for advertising value in Mexican Restaurants although I am sure a lot of the dishes in either type of restaurant cross the border in one direction or the other into each others menus.
