I have been to Tacodeli 5 or 6 times over the last year only because I don't live near either of their locations. If I did live closer I would visit a couple times a month.  Everything I have tried has exceeded my taste expectations. One taco stands out to me though and I am surely not the first person inspired to write about it. Tacodeli calls it the "Cowboy Taco".

The Cowboy Taco at Tacodeli is grilled beef tenderloin, grilled corn, caramelized onions and toasted peppers topped with guacamole and queso fresco. I topped the Cowboy on my latest visit with their new habanero sauce which is a blend of carrots, habanero chili peppers, and vinegar. It was definitely to be used sparingly. The sauce had a great balance of heat but left me with with a wonderful pepper buzz and a good sweat on my forehead.

I have also tried their aguas frescas which are all made in-house with fresh fruit. Tacodeli's aguas frescas are very good and wonderfully fresh. The Horchata was also very good but wasn't as remarkable as the aguas frescas. Tacodeli has a good selection of drinks made locally including Good Flow juices, Sweet Leaf teas, Cielo water, and my favorite Main Root Beer on tap.

Tacodeli has daily lunch specials so ordering is easy when they are busy, which seems to be every-time I go there. They are located close to IBM and a lot of other technology buildings so those lucky folks get to enjoy Tacodeli more than me. I guess that is one of the perks for working for a large technology firm in the area.

The tortillas, tortilla chips, and torta bread are all baked locally and always fresh. They offer a lot of vegetarian options on their menu, and offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

I also picked up their corporate catering menu which offers recurring deliveries at a discount.

Highly recommended!

I love eating a Tacodeli. The menu has a lot of selections but not to many which makes it easy to decide. The place is always packed for lunch but the line moves fast and worth the wait. I eat there at least once a week and always leave with a happy belly.
