Pars Deli is one of my favorite Persian restaurants in Austin. The decor is lacking but keep in mind it is a deli. The grocery selection and menu items are fabulous. I encourage anyone new to Persian cuisine to try anything on the menu. Pars Deli has some wonderful traditional stews that are worth the trip. They close early at 8:00 so be sure to get there in time for dinner. Pars Deli also serves lunch and the menu is very affordable. The portions are big so plan on left overs. Don't forget to drink hot tea with your Baklava.
